Streetlight Manifesto.

A total sucker for album anniversary/revival tours (looking at you, Pinkerton 2010), I bought tickets last night to see Streetlight Manifesto play Keasbey Nights in its entirety at one of their homecoming shows. Reminiscing about my favorite high school albums and all the punk/ska shows I went to, I couldn’t help but dig through some ancient folders on my laptop for these photo gems circa 2006. I was eighteen years old, and I fucking loved this band.

After I waited outside for a picture, Jim Conti was so very sweet to me and asked if I wanted to check out their new tour bus. Of course I did! I know some of these pictures are cheesy and ridiculous, especially the cliche tour bus “mirror photos” as we still called them back then, but I’m waxing nostalgic so hard right now.

Along with my Jim photos, I’m also including one I took today of one of my most cherished articles of clothing: my Streetlight hoodie also from 2006. You’d better believe I’ll be wearing it next weekend in Sayreville, NJ at the Keasbey Nights show (at least until I get inside and sweat my life away. Hopefully I won’t lose the hoodie in the process.) Enjoy.

Forgive the quality; it was 2006. The proof is in size of that fucking camera.
A very belated “thank you” to whoever helped us to finally take a decent picture.

There she is! A little grease-stained, but in pretty damn good shape for a twelve-year-old, well-loved hoodie.

Eight days to go!
